Happy November, friends!
How was your Halloween?
Ours was super fab! Even though our trick-or-treat has been rescheduled to Saturday because of the storm, we still had an awesome day celebrating with friends.
I mean~ check out this adorableness:

Pretty sure it doesn’t get cuter than that, folks.
Love!
Also: whoooo else thinks our fall craft turned out hoot-terrific? {Thanks to this fun craft tutorial from Kiwi Crate!}

Adorbs. The girls are in love with their little owls!
We danced to the Monster Mash, munched on a delicious lunch & reallllly enjoyed making {and eating!} carmel apples.

Yum. They were so tasty, being sticky for the rest of the day was totally worth it.
And of course, let’s not forget the princess tea party. No holiday celebration is complete without one!

Holy cuteness. Love love love!
Going through the pictures to write this post, it hit me: I’m always going to remember this Halloween.
I’m going to remember that the girls picked their Halloween costumes for the first time ever this year.

I’m going to remember that our neighborhood trick-or-treat was postponed because of the weather {but at least we got in the downtown trick-or-treat last week!}.

I’m going to remember how Little O counted down the days until this spooktacular holiday.

But most of all?
I’m going to remember that our kids had a blast with their friends. I’m going to remember their giggles, their sticky carmel-y faces and their tiny glue-covered fingers.
I’m going to remember the spirited lunch conversation between all of the kiddos at the party. Complimenting each other’s costumes, asking questions, generally being adorable.
And I’m going to remember how incredibly blessed we are to have such fabulously fun, wonderfully funny, fantastically sweet friends to enjoy these memories with.
Also? The only thing better than your own kids being hopped up on sugar is having them running around & giggling with your friend’s kiddos who are also hopped up on sugar.
It’s the stuff Halloween memories are made of.

And I love it.
Counting My Kisses: The fact that our children rarely get sugary treats makes Halloween a BIG deal around here. I’m fairly certain the girls will be working on their massive pumpkin lollipops for at least a week…they get 5 minutes each night after dinner to make progress & they are beyond excited about it. We had such a fabulous Halloween~ it just goes to show you that nothing can top great friends, happy kids & fabulous costumes. Oh, and sugar. A win-win for everyone!
How did you celebrate Halloween? Hope it was all sorts of fab!
