Pumpkins, witches and candy corn…oh my!

Happy Monday, friends!

Hope you had a great weekend! Ours was full of wonderful friends, happy celebrations and awesome family time.

And…

Halloween decorations!

The girls were all about helping me decorate this year~ it was so cute! 

Little O kept asking, “what’s next, Mommy? Can we hang up more stuff?!” while the H-Berry zipped around from decoration to decoration, clapping her hands & exclaiming “moreeeee!” in delight.

Their enthusiasm totally got me into the Halloween spirit. So fun! {And it got my wheels spinning for a few fun Pinterest Halloween crafts, too!}.

We added pretty fall decorations to our table…

and spooky Halloween touches to all corners of our house! 

The girls absolutely loved the light-up jack-o-lantern. So much, in fact, that they both wanted to give it kisses before bed!

 Love!

My favorite part of decorating with the girls was two-fold.

The first highlight? Little O’s insistence on wearing her candy corn purse on her head. She thought it was a cute hat…I suppose it sort of works, don’t you think? 

And the second highlight? H-Berry’s awe/curiosity about the witch hanging in our front foyer. She stared at it forever, trying to decide if she liked it or not. 

Final verdict? 

It’s a winner!

Even Lilly got into the Halloween fun by donning her annual costume. Say hello to the Bumble Fuzz:

It’s safe to say we’re officially celebrating Halloween in our house. Next up on our list of Fall Fun? Picking pumpkins, of course!

What helps get you into the Halloween spirit?

 

Counting My Kisses: I can hardly wait to add some homemade Halloween decorations to our house~ I know the girls will be so excited to make their own ghosts and pumpkins! Even thought Halloween isn’t my favorite holiday {here’s why}, having little ones makes it so much fun. And the fact that I can buy a bag of candy corn each & every time I go to the store? Bonus!
