Adventures in apple picking

Saturday morning, the Hubs & I packed up the girls & headed out on a fall adventure.

Our destination? 

the apple orchard!

It was a beautiful fall day, and the girls were really, really excited about picking apples. And riding around in their wagon.

Adorbs!

H-Berry had such fun apple picking~ especially on the apple trees that were the perfect H-Berry height for picking. I’ll never forget her grabbing hold of those apples & pull-pull-pulllllling with all of her might. The apple would finally pop off the tree, knocking her over and sending her into a fit of giggles. 

Repeat over and over and over again. Super fun!

Little O took apple picking very seriously. She was all business with her apple selection, and even enlisted the Hubs to help her reach those apples on the tippy-top of the trees. So sweet!

It was an outing for the memory books~  the Hubs & I had so much fun with our sweet girls! 

It also was a fruitful adventure. When all was said & done, we had picked more than a 1/2 bushel of apples. Whoa baby! Needless to say…if you have any yummy apple recipes, send them this way!

Good thing we love a good apple in our house. 

And we also love our sweet little apple pickers. 

Such a fun way to spend a Saturday morning!

Counting My Kisses: The girls are the perfect age to do fun things like apple picking~ they definitely were old enough to get what we were doing & to really enjoy it. The Hubs & I had fun picking a few apples too~ but the real fun was watching Little O & H-Berry’s faces as they searched for the perfect apple, and then their triumphant smiles once they held it up for us to see. Love it!
