Around here

How was your weekend, friends?!

Last week was such an exciting one for us around here~ back to reality after an incredible Disney vacay &  jumping head-first into our fall schedule.

From tumbling for both girls to preschool for Little O to fun trips to the zoo with friends, we had an awesome week. An action-packed week. A fantastically wonderfully fabulous week. 

And then…

Little O woke up with a nasty cold on Friday morning.

Really, not a surprise. We’ve had a thing or two {or a hundred} going on the past few weeks, which meant that the girls were exposed to a germ or two {or a hundred}.

changing it up

Little O’s unexpected cold changed things up a bit around here.

For starters, H-Berry & the Hubs headed to the football game on Friday night, just the two of them. Check out H-Berry’s face~ she was positively beaming! 

The Hubs reported that H-Berry had a blast at the game~ she enjoyed a hot dog, popcorn, people watching & dancing around while the band performed {those are my football game highlights, too!}.

Also? I’m totally digging H-Berry’s sporty spice look. Adorbs, don’t you think?

 

The coughing/sneezing/runny-nosed Little O & I stayed home, snuggled on the couch & ordered the super cute The Lorax on demand.

It was a nice little night around here…which turned into a nice little weekend around here, especially when H-Berry woke up with the same nasty cold on Sunday morning.

Sigh.

But after the go go go Disney schedule & a super busy week of fall activities,

the Hubs & I realized that we didn’t mind hanging around here one bit with our sick little ones.

 

Turns out around here is pretty fun, too.

It’s our happy place called home.

 

Counting My Kisses: We’re hoping Little O & H-Berry are on the road to recovery~ hopefully it’s a quick little cold that they clear quickly! Their colds were a good reminder to the Hubs & I that sometimes it’s a good thing to slow it down, rent a few movies & just hang out around here.
