Oh, Listable Life, how I’ve missed you!

And this week’s topic is a perfect one~ especially since I adore snapping photos of my girls, the Hubs & pretty much any smiley subject that tugs at my heart strings.

5 {ahem, 6} All-Time Favorite Pictures of My Kids

1. Little O’s first trip to the ocean {8 weeks old~ July 2009}

Does this picture not melt you? Seriously?! It’s still framed in our family room and Little O’s room, it’s that much of a fave. Little O and her adorable hat, sweet sleepy face and baby bikini, sleeping soundly on the beach…love!

2. Little O playing peek-a-boo with blankie {8.5 months old~ February 2010}

I was trying to snap a picture of Little O to use for Valentine’s Day~ and she started playing around with her blankie & flashing her bright blue eyes at me. Her sweet expression & general snuggliness have made this picture one of my absolute faves over the past few years!

3. The H-Berry’s sweet baby face {1 month old~ February 2011}

I love brand-new newborn photos, but there is something about that one-month mark that makes for a great picture as well. H-Berry’s cheeks are full, her eyes are bright & focused, and she looks generally content over being photographed incessantly. Also: the fact that I found a headband that perfectly matched her outfit may or may not have been the cause for a happy dance in our household that morning.

4. The H-Berry’s toothy, drooly grin {6 months old~ July 2011}

Miss Baby Personality 2011! This shot continues to be a fave because it captures the H-Berry perfectly at that point in her babyhood~ constant drooling, endless grinning, complete merriment. Those baby blue eyes just jump out & make me smile every single time! I just want to scoop her up & nibble on her baby cheeks.

5. The girls~ February 2011 {Little O 20 months old; H-Berry 2.5 weeks old}

All I wanted when H-Berry was born was a picture of the two girls together. I had it all set in my head~ Little O gazing adoringly down at her baby sister, a sweet smile on both of their faces. In reality, my come-here-sweetie-why-don’t-you-hold-you-sister requests were met with temper tantrums or flat-out toddler ignoring. When Little O was finally ready to hold H-Berry, my heart practically melted in my chest. I’ll always cherish this photo, since it marks the beginning of Little O’s interest in her little sis~ a journey that has grown unbelievable lengths in the past 19 months!

6. The girls~ August 2012 {H-Berry 18.5 months old; Little O 3 years old}

My current faves of the girls are hard to decide between right now, but this one is at the very top. Snapped at my parent’s house a few weeks ago, I love how bright their eyes are~ and that they both are looking {!} and smiling {!}. They look happy, relaxed and exactly like themselves. An extra bonus: their faces are close enough together that this shot has become my new phone background {they both fit on the main screen! Woo!}, which makes me smile every time I turn it on!

Counting My Kisses: It was SO much fun to go through & find some of my favorite shots of the girls. It’s also insane to look at how much they have GROWN over the past few years.
