The first time I heard it, my heart skipped a beat:
“Come on, H-berry! Let’s go play.”
An invitation for the little sis to come hang out with the big sis.
To be included. To be a part of the Big Girl action.

Baby H paused, blinked & hurried her tiny little legs over to her sister, smiling broadly.
It didn’t matter what they were playing~ it only mattered that Little O invited Baby H to play with her.

Months and years from now, when I think back on this summer, I know I’m going to have lots of memories competing as favorites.
All of the trips to the beach, the giggles, the adventures, the family fun, the double tubs and bedtime snuggles.

But I know I’ll always remember that this was the summer.

The summer our two daughters stopped co-exhisting together and started playing together. Interacting with each other.
The summer that I’ll look back on, smile and tell them, “you two have been peas in a pod since Baby H could walk!”

The summer where I realized how a simple phrase~ “Come on, H-berry!” could open up a whole new world of sister adventures.
Love, love love.

Counting My Kisses: I’m so happy I captured this memory~ this phrase has been running around in my head for weeks. Each time Little O says it to Baby H, I can’t help but grin. Our two little adventurers, out to explore the world. Together. Could life be any sweeter?
Have a GREAT weekend, friends! See you back here on Monday!

Great great memories. I love watching the relationships grow between my two. And you’re right: for that little one, being included by the big one is so important. Love your photos!

I love this! Makes me think of my girls when they were similar ages. The bath picture is perfect. And it’s just so awesome when they play together, isn’t it?
