A case of the Mondays

The girls definitely had a case of the Mondays yesterday.

You know the drill: Cranky. Irritable. Lots & lots of tears. And temper tantrums times two.

 

All.day.long.

Good times.

 

By 7 p.m. when the Hubs got home, it was clear that we NEEDED to get out of the house. A change of scenery, a bit of fresh air. We took a long walk & then cut the girls loose in our yard.

 

Best idea ever!

It turned their Monday Moods into Funday Moods.

Their sense of humor returned.

{Yes, this is Belle, Ariel, Tinkerbell & Tiny Tink hanging out in our watering can, in case you were wondering. Little O thought they wanted to go for a swim…} 

And tickle wars commenced. 

Let’s not forget sisterly hugs…

and lots of singing and dancing.

My favorite moment? Kisses on the slide! 

And the reappearance of our sweet, giggly little girls. 

It was a great reminder that even on the most endless of Mondays, a little bit of fresh air & freedom can turn a bust of a day into an absolute blast. 

Counting My Kisses: It was so nice listening to Little O & Baby H’s non-stop giggles after a less-than-stellar day. We ended up tucking in two very sleepy, very happy little girls after a super fun night outside. The best part was watching the girls play together & feed off of each other’s giggles~ it makes my heart so happy to see their sister bond continue to grow!
