Sporty Spice O!

Happy Tuesday, friends!

In celebration of the 10-day marker until the Olympics kick off {squee! I’m so excited!}, we’re talking sports today.

Specifically, Little O’s latest accomplishment: wrapping up her summer soccer program. And check out this face~ do you think she’s a little proud of herself?

She’s come a long way over the past 7 weeks. I’m pleased to report that during her final game on Monday night, she only ran off the field three times for hugs, and not once to give me flowers or to eat part of Baby H’s snack. A marked improvement, for sure.

This little girl gave soccer all of her heart each week~ even on the weeks {like this week} that hovered near or above the 90-degree mark. 

Little O was so excited about getting her first medal on Monday night, it was all sorts of fab.

So, so sweet.

It goes without saying that we’re incredibly proud of Little O. She was at the young end of this soccer program, and each week she stuck with it and worked harder & harder {and paid attention more & more!}. It was lots of fun for her, and it was fun~ and funny!~ for us to watch her learn the rules of her first organized sport.

Well done, sweet girl. May it be the first of many sporting adventures for you!

Counting My Kisses: Another milestone for our oldest daughter! The soccer medal is a big deal to our 3-year-old; I’m pretty sure we’ll have to pick a safe {as in, Baby H proof} spot to display it for all our family & friends to marvel over. I’m incredibly thankful for this great opportunity for our Sporty Spice O~ it was awesome to watch her learn, grow & follow directions! Small steps…and very, very fun ones.
