Happy Birthday to our Family’s Favorite Blogger!

I’m giving Amy a break today, seeing that it is her birthday and all – not to mention the celebration of our nation’s freedom.  So here goes my first cut at the blogging world…

As the husband of a family blogger it’s an awesome privilege to reap the benefits of Amy’s hard work. Traveling never feels quite so far away when you get your daily dose of Baby H and Little O, even if it’s just a few hundred words woven together with some great pictures.

More impressive than how she shines as a blogger is how she shines as a wife and mother -always staying positive, supporting, teaching, encouraging.  She is truly the root of our family tree, building a foundation for our girls to springboard from in the years ahead.  Almost 6 years and 2 sweet girls later, she is still the woman I want to spend my life with.

It makes me so proud to see how she has been able to grow this idea of hers.  She has devoted so much energy and passion to keeping the content fresh and always providing a look into the lives of Baby H and Little O 5 days a week.  It may appear effortless for her, but coming up with somthing to share each day can be anything but easy.  And on top of all that, she delivers her message with a positive spin, something I think we can all appreciate.

When Amy set out to further develop her writing via this blog over a year ago, I could never have imagined what the idea would turn into.  Lucky for us all, she had a vision for what she wanted to create.  Decades from now our family will look back on this special time in life and be fortunate to be able to recall so much of the sometimes small, yet wonderful details of our girls’ childhood.

Hopefully Amy’s day will be full of relaxing with family – inevitably there will be a horde of great pictures to share with you all in the coming weeks (and of course it will be accompanied by much better writing!) – so stay tuned!
