Butterfly faces & lots of fun places

Hi, friends!

How was your weekend?

Ours was super fun & extremely busy. We started off with a relaxing playdate on Friday, and then slid head-first into an action-packed weekend.

Saturday’s agenda?

The beach, of course.

Followed by naps, dinner at the local root beer stand and…

the festival!

In case you couldn’t have guessed, Little O loved it. Adored it. Thought it was the greatest thing on earth

Baby H, on the other hand…

don’t let her sweet little smile~ or the fact that she’s actually being held in this picture~ fool you. Miss Independent was hell-bent on walking the entire festival on her own

Try to pick her up? Screeching, then immediate dead weight.

Try to hold her hand? She twisted free & sat down in the middle of the icky pavement, giving me a minor heart attack that she was going to 1. be stepped on or 2. sit on someone’s dinner leftovers.

I have no idea what got into Miss H at the festival, but she reminded me of a spinning top. She just kept going and going and going…

Posing to smirk at the camera every once & a while, of course.

Oh, Baby H. Thanks for teaching us to never again leave the house without throwing the stroller into the trunk!

When we weren’t chasing down Miss Independent, we were cheering on Little O, who had her face painted like a butterfly & was having an absolute ball

It was an awesome ~ if slightly exhausting~ night, but I’m so glad we took the plunge &  did it!

And I think Baby H was glad, too.

After all, she sure can wave with the best of them!

Counting My Kisses: After our action-packed Saturday, we were lucky enough to attend two super fun birthday parties for family friends on Sunday. Talk about filling our weekend up with awesome memories! What were you up to this weekend? Hope it was full of fun & adventure, whatever it was. Have a great day!

Looks like you had a fun filled weekend! I love the close up pictures of your girls. :) Baby H. seems to have wanted to go and explore on her own!
