This summer I’ve been feeling the same way more often than not. I’ve started a Summer Saturdays post on my blog to help me keep aware of the fact that this summer is, so far, helping me to love the place I am with my family. Last summer I had a five month old and a 3 year old, so I can totally relate. And while sometimes going out with a toddler is daunting, in the end it is usually worth it! I love your photos!

You are a miracle worker, woman!

I think it is such an important skill as a mother to be “in the moment.” So much goes wrong in the course of a day (sibling spats, bouts of attitude, etc.) that when all is right with our mothering world, we need to savor it. It took me a long time to learn that. You are way ahead of the game!
