Little O’s surprise

Hi, friends!

How was your weekend? Hope you are ready to kick off another great week!

Our weekend was fabulous. Just check out Little O’s smile~ I think it says it all, don’t you?

What is she so smiley about?

A surprise.

A big surprise, just for her.

Saturday afternoon, we packed up the CRV, dropped a very happy Baby H off for a sleepover at Grammy & Grampy’s house, and hit the road.

We had a very special invitation, you see.

One that Little O just couldn’t miss.

An invitation to make a dream come true for our little girl. 

Let me tell you…it was worth the trip. Worth the 400+ miles of driving. And worth the ridiculous week we had, just to see the look on Little O’s face when she met Rapunzel.

She was starstruck. Absolutely starstruck.

Adorable.

Little O finally managed to tell Rapunzel that her hair was beautiful. And that she was so pretty. And that she loved her singing and Flynn Rider and Pascal. And on and on and on.

Rapunzel, bless her heart, couldn’t have been sweeter. She spent a few minutes with Little O and I really, truly think that Little O was floating on air as we walked to the car.

“Mommy. Daddy.” she said, cheeks flushed with a huge grin on her face. “I just met Rapunzel. And it was so.much.fun!”

The Hubs & I exchanged mental high-fives & grinned back at her.

It’s pretty awesome to give your child an experience that means the world to them. A big thank you to Miss Corinne & Mr. Jason for inviting us to meet the lovely Rapunzel~ and thank you to Rapunzel for being so kind with our little girl. It was a night that we’ll remember for a long, long time!

Not to mention…we also got to spend time with the cutest little pumpkin in town, Baby K. 

She was the icing on the cake for Little O. And for us, too. Isn’t she adorable?!

Anyway, we were back home on Sunday in time for afternoon naps, dinner & lots of time to play together as a family. Baby H was thrilled to see us, rested & happy from a fun night of undivided Grammy & Grampy attention.

And Little O was happy. Really, really happy.

Which makes the Hubs & I really, really happy as we embark on another adventurous week with the girls.
